Pu Luong Nature Reserve
Pu Luong Nature Reserve Is not a well-known place in Northern Vietnam. But, this place is considered as one of the most eco-friendly places in the entire Vietnam. There is a reserve where you can see the most dense bio-diversity. You will be able to see endemic plants and animals in this Pu Luong Nature Reserve. You will have to travel about 160km to Southwest from Hanoi to get to this place. If you get here, you will be removed from outside world for sure.
Nui Chua National Park
Nui Chua National Park one of the largest parks in Vietnam. The park is spreading around 23,400ha with its beauty. The bio-diversity level is amazingly high. There are some animal species that cannot be found any other place on Earth. The lake called Treo Lake is such an amazing place in Vietnam that can be seen on the mountain in the park. If you manage to get to the top of the mountain, you will be able to see the surrounding with relics. The beach on the other part of the boundary ends up, is a good place to have some photograph. It will be nice to have a bath in the ocean after a hike.
Ba Vi National Park
If you are expecting a get away from outside world, this will have to be the place where you need to be. There are three mountains surrounding Ba Vi National Park and you will be able to make your own place in this park. Ba Vi National Park is considered as one of the most iconic parks in Vietnam as the bio-diversity is high. There is a temple in the park that will take 30 minute hike to get to there. There will not be any facilities like network or transportation. But, you will get enough cool and fresh air to breathe.
My Son Sanctuary
This place is not far from hoi an ancient town. It won’t take an hour to get here from Hoi An Ancient Town, as you will only have to travel 30km to get here. Most of the travelers forget this place considering the distance. You will see Chama Sculpture from this place. This place contains historical ruins from 4th century to 13th century. If you count, there will be 71 monuments standing on this historical place. There are statues of Shiva, Vishnu, and Krishna.
An Bang Ghost Town
Though this place is referred as a ghost town, there is not a single ghost in the town. But, you will find colossal and colorful tombs in different sizes and shapes. Those statues will represent different cultures like Catholicism, Buddhism, Taoism, Vietnamese, Chinese, Catholicism, Buddhism, Taoism and Western. This place is a better place to symbolize the ethnic unity among cultures. The good thing regarding the tombs is, you can have them purchased. But, you will have to pay up to $50,000 to own one tomb.
